With Her Majesty the Queen celebrating her platinum jubilee this year, it's shaping up to be a busy year for us! Every year we take great pride in tailoring for military personnel and we are looking forward to working on a range of military uniforms for this year's parades and celebrations as part of such a special, momentous year. 

In honour of the Queen's seventieth anniversary of her accession to the throne, The Queens Platinum Jubilee Medal will be awarded to members of the armed forces, emergency services personnel and prison services personnel who have served for five years or more as well as living recipients of the George Cross and Victoria Cross. 

The beautifully crafted commemorative medal was designed by Timothy Noad of the College of Arms and has been produced by the Worcestershire Medal Service in Birmingham. Its inscription reads ‘Elizabeth II, By the Grace of God, Queen, Defender of the Faith’ in Latin. This is the fourth medal created for the Queen with past medals, that we stock, including The Queen's Silver Jubilee Medal 1977 Medal, Golden Jubilee Medal 2002 and the Diamond Jubilee 2012 medal. 

We now stock The Queen’s Platnum Jubilee Miniature Medal 2022 online and in-store as well as accompanying ribbons. The Medal can be purchased with either Swing or Court Mounting or loose with a ribbon. 

Her Majesty The Queen is the first monarch in history to celebrate her platinum jubilee and a UK bank holiday weekend will take place from 2nd - 5th June to enable celebrations to take place up and down the country. Celebrations will also take place throughout the Commonwealth and the world with themed events and parades.
